Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information GroVirally collects when you use the service, how it's used, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors, free accounts, and paid accounts alike.

• Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a hash, never in plain text).
• Video content: files you upload or URLs you submit for analysis, and the resulting reports.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and device/browser information.
• Payment information: handled directly by our payment processor — we do not store your card details.
• Onboarding responses: platform, audience, content category, and similar preferences you provide.

• To perform the video analysis you request and generate your report.
• To operate your account, credits, and billing.
• To send transactional email (verification, password reset, receipts).
• To maintain and improve the non-AI parts of the product (e.g. fixing bugs, understanding feature usage).

We do not use your video content to train our own models.

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate GroVirally, each processing only what's necessary for its function:

• Google Gemini — analyzes submitted video to extract structural evidence. See AI Transparency for detail.
• Cloud object storage — stores uploaded video files.
• Payment processor (Stripe) — handles credit purchases.
• Email delivery provider (Brevo) — sends transactional email.

We retain account and report data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account, uploaded videos, and associated reports at any time by contacting us; some records (e.g. transaction history) may be retained where required for legal or accounting purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

GroVirally is not directed at children and is not intended for users under 16.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-product notice.
